Adettendir, animatörler konuşmalı bir sahneyi yaparken ses kaydını tekrar tekrar dinlerler- insanı çıldırtasıya tekrar eden cümlecikler stüdyo hayatının ayrılmaz parçasıdır.
"Herkül" filminde çalıştığım günlerde (1996) bitişik masada çalışan meslekdaşım (Marc Eoche Duval) Hades'in yardakçıları Pain ve Panic'i canlandırmaktaydı. Bir gün geldi, karakterleri hiç anlayamadığım bir ses çıkardılar, ve tekrar tekrar dinlesem de filmin akışı dışında duyduğum için bir türlü anlam veremiyordum. Ama gözümün önünde birşeyler canlandı tabii, ben de kâğıda döktüm. (Bu mesleğin en tatlı taraflarından biri bu, aklınıza geleni canlandırabiliyorsunuz.)
Filmdeki yerine gelince: Herkül ruhlar nehrinden sağ dönmüştür. Hades şaşırır, "olamaz" der, oradan sağ dönebildiğine göre Herkül...
Pain ve Panic tamamlarlar: "...bir tanrı!" ("a god"!)

It goes with the job: animators have to listen to voice tracks over and over again when they are working on a dialogue scene. Bits of phrases repeated ad nauseum are an essential ingredient of studio life.
Back when I was working on Hercules (1996), I heard an odd sound coming from the neighbouring desk where a colleague (Marc Eoche Duval) was animating Pain and Panic, the demonic henchmen of the villianous Hades. Though repeated endlessley, I could not make it out, hearing it out of context like that. It did feed my imagination though, and I animated the image it conjured. (That's one of the most delicious aspects of the profession; being able to bring life to any fantasy.)
What was the actual line? Amazed that Hercules has returned alive from the river of souls, Hades expresses his surprise, saying he couldn't do that unless he is...
...here Pain and Panic complete the sentence for him: "...a god!"
